This is a celebration of the very fine novels and short stories of Stan Barstow.

Stan Barstow celebrated his eightieth birthday in June this year. To celebrate this milestone, Pontardawe Arts Centre and Academi (the Welsh National Literature Promotion Agency and Society for Authors) presented an evening of events on June 21st 2008.

Stan Barstow has also been honoured with a Fellowship of Academi.
